The Saints were exactly what you'd expect from Australia’s first ever punk group: buzzsaw guitars, Chris Bailey's pissed-off, nasally vocals, and locomotive rhythms supplied by bassist Kym Bradshaw and drummer Ivor Hay. Unpretentious and straightforward, these long-haired Aussies refused to subscribe to the rigid definitions of the punk scene.
