Radio Birdman, the legendary Australian underground band and one of the pioneers of the high energy rock 'n' roll scene, are primed to reissue their formidable back catalogue in a comprehensive limited edition CD box set just in time for Halloween. Definitive five and a half hour long collection of the band's musical legacy including 7 CD's & one PAL all region DVD. Included are their three studio albums, three bonus discs of mainly previously unreleased material and a live 1977 never before heard concert. Comes with a bonus DVD! For fans of MC5, the Stooges, & the Saints. Radio Birdman, legendary Australian underground band and one of the pioneers of the high energy rock ' roll scene, are primed to reissue their formidable back catalogue early this October. The reissues will initially be in the form of a limited edition CD box set that will contain the three studio albums Radios Appear (Trafalgar and Sire versions) and Living Eyes, all remastered from original tapes and each accompanied by a stand alone bonus disc. Much of the bonus disc material is previously unreleased and will provide a treasure trove of material for diehard fans. The seventh disc to make up the box set is a previously unreleased live concert recorded at Paddington Town Hall in December 1977 just prior to the band's departure for the UK. This live recording has been mixed from master tapes that have languished forgotten for decades. The result is a totally wild and raw release that captures the band's true primal energy. The bonus accompanying this disc is an all regions PAL format DVD of live footage; two clips from the December '77 show, one from April '77 plus 16 other tracks and a promotional video made to celebrate the 1988 LP box set "Under the Ashes". Contains a clamshell type red and black outer box, 4x6 panel wallets containing 7 audio discs and a bonus PAL all regions DVD, 40 page booklet with liner notes and exclusive, never before seen photos. ALL studio albums have been re-mastered from the original tapes, two bonus discs worth of material never heard before, one Live 19 tracks CD mixed from the original 2" master tapes (16 tracks never heard), cover artwork lovingly reproduced as faithfully as possible from the original photos.
